Pune : MIM Lok Sabha prospect Anis Sundke has introduced that a memorial to Tipu Sultan might be in-built Pune.
Reacting to this, BJP town device President Dheeraj Ghate said, “We will not likely allow the memorial to be developed on Pune’s land beneath any situations. We are going to lodge a law enforcement complaint During this regard.”
He was addressing a press meet up with in the city on Sunday. Ghate mentioned, “The BJP strongly opposes the proposed memorial to Tipu Sultan. He tortured the Hindus. Sundke is attempting to travel a wedge in between two communities by elevating the memorial challenge during the elections. Some people tried to celebrate the delivery anniversary of Tipu Sultan. The BJP vehemently opposed it. We gained’t permit this to happen at any Charge.”
Ghate explained, “Pune is referred to as a cultural centre. Many historical personalities had been affiliated with it. Tipu Sultan wasn't a great leader. He killed thousands of Hindu Adult males and ladies. Hindutva outfits won't ever allow the memorial to return up. We're going to approach the police. It is an try and polarise votes. The BJP strongly condemns this.”
